Weight Loss Studies
Weight loss studies typically involve investigating various strategies, interventions, and factors that contribute to or inhibit weight loss in individuals. These studies may examine the effectiveness of different diets, exercise regimens, behavioral interventions, medications, or surgical procedures in helping people lose weight. The studies often measure outcomes such as changes in body weight, body composition, metabolic markers, and overall health to assess the impact of interventions. Additionally, weight loss studies may explore the psychological, social, and environmental factors influencing individuals' ability to achieve and maintain weight loss. The types of studies we are doing in this area currently are focused on the class of medications called Glucagon Like Peptide (GLP-1s).
