Healthy Volunteers
Research studies enroll a wide variety of people. When we think of clinical research, we most often think of studies that are seeking patients who have a specific condition. Not all studies target a specific disease; we have many studies for healthy volunteers. Healthy volunteers are important to the data collected. A healthy volunteer study may be looking at how a healthy person responds to the procedures or how a healthy person’s information can be used as a comparison to those people with the condition.
