Vaccine Studies
The creation of a vaccine involves scientists and medical experts from around the world, and it usually requires 10 to 15 years of research before the vaccine is made available to the general public. The purpose of vaccination is to produce immunity. Immunity means the presence in a person’s body of cells and substances known as antibodies that can produce a protective immune response. Vaccines are like a training course for the immune system. They prepare the body to fight disease without exposing it to disease symptoms.
